       Performers and funding for the re-recording and re-shooting of 

Bring Back Peace

In 2007 a group of young Himalayan kids were given an opportunity to express themselves through music. They had never written a song before. They were asked to write about any subject they wanted. The result of their effort was Bring Back Peace, a song and simple home video that have touched the hearts of all those who have seen and heard it. With your help we can take their message to the world.

This invitation to positive action is recognized in all the spiritual teachings of the world. In Tibetan Buddhism it is known as the act of merit making - helping others. As Tibetan Buddhists, the members of Peace Mantra have a strong desire to send their message to the world and use their creation to help other children.

Youth from countries affected by war will become part of the creation, singing with well-known recording artists in the re-recording and re-shooting of Bring Back Peace. The commercial release and downloads would raise money that could be used to further programs such as MSI and others for children affected by war; kids helping kids. What could be more empowering than kids creating something that will help other kids around the world devastated by the recent and seemingly unending wars?
